Years ago in Harlow, just outside London, my grandmother Margaret — Grandma Maggie — had a wardrobe women loved to borrow from. Not because it followed trends, but because it made them feel comfortable and confident.

With my mum Helen by her side, that wardrobe became Harlow Boutique — a place where women felt seen and welcome.
